Picture-in-Picture (PiP) Option in Video Player

ProductDyno has PIP -Picture-in Picture

Now ProductDyno’s video player provides the Picture-in-Picture (PiP) option!

The Picture-in-Picture (PiP) function is ProductDyno's newest feature. It allows you to resize and watch videos in a window that is always on top of your other open windows.

Now users may continue watching videos while they interact with other content! So they can keep track of what they're watching while interact with other options on your website, or applications. 

You can click on the PiP icon available at the bottom of the video to activate PiP mode and exiting out of PiP Mode is just as simple. Currently, PiP feature is supported only MP4 format videos.

In addition to adding the Picture-in-Picture (PiP) option, we have made performance improvements as well.

'Offline' Payment Processor

A lot of customers create products that are never sold with actual money or live payment processor.

All they need is some way to add the members manually. It could be a bonus delivery or free give away. In any case, they need a package (Payment Gateway) before a member can be added to a Collection. To create a package, one must need to connect an actual payment processor but not anymore.

The 'Offline' payment processor also comes handy when you need to have Payment Gateways inside our Zapier application.

Access Issue Fixed - WordPress Plugin

We found an issue with the content security that was allowing the unauthenticated users access to the protected pages. Our team have fixed the issue and made a few more code improvements that might not even be noticeable.

Introduction To Speed Control Option Inside Video Player

Who is not aware of the video speed control feature in popular video sites? There are times when your customers want to speed up the video to save time. We received a lot of requests from our customers to introduce the speed control feature in our video player. The wait is over and now ProductDyno’s video player provides the speed control option. In addition to adding the speed control option, we have made performance improvements as well.

Enhanced Public/Authorization Pages - ‘Default’ Theme

We have enhanced the functionality to one of our themes - ‘Default’. With this update, it offers the ability to add a banner on ‘Public/Auth’ pages e.g; Login, Register, Forgot Password. You do not need to worry about your existing ‘Products’ or ‘Collections’ that are using this theme since this is a smart update and it will keep working as it was before if you do not want to use enhanced features.

Ability to Remove the 'Exported Members' File

Many of you have been requesting the ability to remove the 'Exported Members' file from your Product or Collection, once you have downloaded the file and do not need it online anymore.

Auto-Generated Passwords

It was brought to our notice that people are having difficulty reading some of the "fancy" characters.

You can now avoid the confusion with auto-generated passwords because when ProductDyno sends a welcome email whenever a new member is added to your Product or Collection...

From now on, we will not include these confusing characters in any of the auto-generated passwords. These confusing characters are 'O, 0, I, L, i, l'.

‘The Academy’ Theme Improvements

We have made several improvements to ‘The Academy’ theme. The most noticeable change is the removal of an extra ‘hamburger’ icon under the mobile screens. This change makes the theme look equally good on all screen sizes.

Clone a 'Collection'

This new feature allows you to clone your 'Collection' along with all of the existing products and customized settings.

Restricted IPs / Emails

One of the most awaited and important features introduced by ProductDyno this month is the ability to restrict members by their IPs and emails.

How does it work?

Restricted By Email

Members with restricted emails will not be able to login/register for any of your Products/Collections. They will be redirected to an error page instead.

Restricted By IPs

ProductDyno let's you easily restrict access to your website to visitors from a specific set of IP addresses. Visitors with restricted IPs will not be able to view your login/register pages for any of your Products/Collections. They will be redirected to an error page instead.

Because you can redirect restricted IP's to an error page...
You can customize the error page message according to your needs. Just create a page with a customized message for your visitors that matches the unique style of the rest of your site. 

Readable User-Friendly URLs

URLs are often the first thing your members will see. We have made your product/collection URLs readable and user-friendly. so you can now get your thinking caps on and find URLs that help visitors remember your web addresses

And do not worry, all of your old URLs will still be working without any issue.

Goal Setting and Social Media

Optional First & Last Name

There are a few payment platforms that do not capture the name of the buyer. In the result when it was not possible to update such buyers from inside of the ProductDyno.

With this update, we have made the First & Last name input optional.

ThriveCart Webhook for Re-bills

ThriveCart was used to send an identical invoice identifier for all of the rebills. This was a roadblock to show the correct numbers inside the Business Intelligence. But ThriveCart has changed it a while ago and sends a unique invoice identifier for each re-bill.

We not only have updated our code to store future data correctly but we also fixed the past data wherever it was possible inside your ProductDyno account.
