It’s a good idea to get accounts with several payment processors. If one goes down (and it does happen), you can swap it out with one of your alternatives. That means you can be back up and running in just a couple minutes.

But here’s something else…  It’s also a good idea to use multiple payment processors just to see which one converts the best for you. Some of them are branded with trusted names. Some create the order form for you, while others let you customize the form. These sorts of options can have significant impacts on your conversion rate, so it’s worth testing these factors.

Here's one for you to consider:  JVZoo.

This platform popped up in 2011 as a direct competitor to ClickBank, and it delivered by offering a platform with features that weren’t available anywhere else. Today JVZoo continues to be a feature-rich and affiliate friendly platform.

Here’s what marketers like about this platform:

  • You get the option of accepting payments through multiple platforms, including Stripe, Authorize.net and PayPal.
  • It’s easy to set up sales funnels with upsells and downsells, recurring payments, dime sales, free trials, and coupons.
  • JVZoo is very affiliate friendly, and includes features such as instant affiliate commissions, automatic bonus delivery, and JV profit-sharing.

One downside of this feature is that you need to use JVZoo’s branded order form. That means you lose some of the continuity and branding from your own site, which can lower commissions.  Another downside is that JVZoo requires buyers to create an account with JVZoo, which can be a little confusing. By the time a buyer completes their purchase, they may get 3-4 emails between you and JVZoo.
